The 1998 Ford 7840 SLE DT (Dual Traction / 4WD) represents the final and most refined production year of the iconic PowerStar 40 Series, built in Basildon, England. Powered by a legendary 6.6-litre 6-cylinder engine, this premium SLE specification features advanced Closed-Centre Load-Sensing (CCLS) hydraulics and Ford's 16-speed ElectroShift semi-powershift transmission.
Because 1998 was a transition year under Fiat/New Holland ownership, these final units are easily distinguished by their all-blue New Holland livery (replacing the earlier white-roof/black-chassis scheme) and updated digital dashboard calibrations.
